Very tough finishing hole which firstly requires a good carry off the tee to a dog leg right or a well judged lay up. A long blind second shot uphill to a narrow green guarded by two bunkers at the front. The hole is named 'Wrecker'.
This hole should be treated with respect or it will live up to its name. It is for most best played like a par 5! The second and third shot, if you are still on the uphill fairway, is completely blind. A 4 feels like a birdie on this hole. Avoid straying right to the trees or left on to the 1st and if protecting a good score or a winning position in a match, consider laying up off the tee. A mishit shot often finds the brook.
