The Rugby Golf Club is a members club with over 100 years of golfing history. It is a parkland course with many established trees and with the Clifton brook running through the middle effecting 9 holes, and the Oxford canal affecting another three and a pond on the 14th, makes it an interesting and challenging course.

   Visitors

We make visitors, societies and green-fee players welcome and try to make their visit to Rugby Golf Club an enjoyable experience. Generally it is not necessary to book tee times, but all visitors are advised to phone the professional David Quinn on 01788 575134, prior to coming to make sure no event is being played. Saturday mornings up to 13:00 is reserved for the members, but there are sometimes spaces available, so checking with the Pro may be worthwhile.

   Course

The course is an exciting 18 hole parkland course, with no two holes the same. The course favours accuracy rather than big hitting, especially when considering the water problems talked about above and after a Professional event in 2006 the professionals considered our 18th as being a most difficult finishing hole in the area, maybe that's why it is called the Wrecker, and the 9th, a par three of 238 yards, falls into the same category.
