Juniors Section
In March of 2007 Rugby Golf Club achieved the English Golf Unions GOLFMARK accreditation. This indicates that not only do we have systems in place for both Child Protection and Equal Opportunities but we also give the juniors many opportunities to improve and enjoy their golf game.

His Junior Development Team consists of the following members:
David Quinn (our resident Professional), John Wilson (PGA Level 1 coach),
Julian Leckie (PGA Level 1 coach), Claire Scott (Welfare Officer),
Duncan Snook, Kevin Branston, Chris Moran and Jonathan Watts.
We have over 60 juniors in a very active section. At 3pm on most Saturdays there is a 9 hole competition for any of the juniors that wish to take part. This opportunity gives the juniors an opportunity to understand the rules of golf and etiquette.
On school holidays, each week, those juniors with a CONGU handicap have a competition on Tuesdays and Fridays. These competitions start at 9.30am.
The Junior Captain in 2009 is Ryan Kowal.
